Siân Pottok is a vocalist, composer and writer, whose origins go from India-Pakistan-Congo to Belgium and Tchekoslovakia.

Born in Florida, Siân grew up in Indonesia, Singapore  then Belgium and finally Paris where she studied music, mainly jazz. She started music with the violon at the age of 8, then explored piano, cello until she finally discovered that singing was “her thing”. Siân decides to take off to Paris and studies in the famous Jazz Conservatory “Lili-Nadia Boulanger” after passing with success her audition for the vocal jazz section. In Paris, she performed in the most finest Jazz clubs : Baiser Salé, Sunside Jazz Club, Sunset Jazz Club, Caveau des oubliettes. Siân also performs in New York Clubs such as : the Blue Note, 55 Bar, Fat Cat, Rockwood Music Hall, Drom, Sugar Bar, Jules… She travels between Paris, Brussels and New york, where she continues to perform and where she has and still shares her music with artists such as : Richard Bona, Clarence Penn, Grégoire Maret, Obed Calvaire, Adam Stoler, Magic Malik, Daniel Romeo, Michel Seba, Stefanus Vivens, Mario Canonge, Mike Moreno, Ben Williams, Jonathan Batiste, Ricky Rodriguez, Kevin Reveyrand, Dominique Fillon, Jean-Philippe Fanfant, Thierry Fanfant, Jon Grandcamp… and many others… 

She has also collaborated in various recording projects with musicians such as Gérald Toto or Marc Berthoumieux and Ludovic Beier  (on "Jazz Accordéons à la récré").

In 2007 Siân produced her first album “As Simple as That”.

Today Siân is preparing her second album in New York City.
